This year we will be hosting the State Yard Dog Championship. All working dogs from around Australia will be competing at the 2020 Farm Fair.
Over the two days, dogs and their handlers are each put through a demanding course. Their aim is to move a flock of sheep through a series of yards and obstacles that mirror everyday life on the farm.
The judges are looking at how the dog works the sheep through all the obstacles.
Each competitor has 12 minutes to complete the course.
Handler and dog must adhere to strictly enforced rules and rough work.
Check this out, you will be impressed by the talent of the dogs and their high price tags.
